Representatives of EDIH ADRIA center participated in the 12th International Symposium Health for All - Health in Urban Settings<\/em><\/strong>, organised by the HORUS consortium, which brings together leading European experts in the field of urban health and sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n

At the symposium, Damir Medved, Director of EDIH ADRIA, held a presentation titled \u201cSmart City and Smart Health \u2013 (lost) Opportunities for Synergies?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The presentation presents the possibilities of connecting smart cities and digital health solutions and examples of how technological and organisational innovations can improve citizens' health, especially in urban areas.<\/p>\n

    EDIH ADRIA works as User-centric Consortium<\/strong>, which brings together scientific institutions, technology leaders and business support organisations to provide comprehensive support for the digital transformation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The activities and results of regional initiatives were presented, such as: the Competence Centre for Smart Cities (CEKOM)<\/strong>, which brings together 20 partners and has already developed 36 market-ready products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The importance of data integration<\/strong> and interoperable systems between the health, public safety, environment, social services and transport sectors \u2014 a basis for the development of healthier and fairer urban communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Challenges in the use of advanced technologies were discussed, including: AI chatbots<\/strong>, sensor networks<\/strong> i big data analytics<\/strong>, with a particular focus on barriers such as the regulatory framework, the availability of funding, digital skills and sectoral disparities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
