This system supports a wide range of services, some of which are visible only to health system managers and the Croatian Health Insurance Fund, while others are also available to health professionals and even patients.<\/p>\n<p>The educational course \u201cCentral Health Information System of the Republic of Croatia (CEZIH)\u201d is intended to provide participants with an insight into the functioning and possibilities of CEZIH systems. The duration of the course is 4 hours, and its goal is to provide participants with a complete overview of the business architecture and services provided by CEZIH.<\/p>\n<p>Topics to be covered during the course include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business architecture of CEZIH systems:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Understanding the key components of the system.<\/p>\n<p>Interfaces of individual components, their mutual interaction and connection.<\/p>\n<p>Possibilities of upgrading and improving the system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Central applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>eKarton: A detailed view of the electronic health record (eKarton), which is kept for each patient and is accessible to healthcare professionals with a right of access.<\/p>\n<p>Health portal: Overview of the application intended for patients to monitor their own health status and information.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits for healthcare professionals:<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the above aspects, the CEZIH system provides a number of benefits specifically aimed at healthcare professionals:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faster access to information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Healthcare professionals have fast and efficient access to relevant patient medical data through the eKarton system, enabling them to make informed decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Increased coordination of care:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The system allows for better coordination between different health sectors, facilitating dialogue and joint monitoring of patients, which contributes to a holistic approach to care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improved diagnostics and monitoring of treatment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Healthcare professionals have access to complete and up-to-date information on medical history, diagnostic tests and course of treatment, improving diagnostic procedures and monitoring of treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of the training is 4 hours, and lectures will be held by experts in the field, including Katarina Uradin, Goran Streny and representatives of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.<\/p>\n<p>Location and dates:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies, Hall 357 + online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Terms:<\/strong> 25.01.2024, 09.02.2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Education about the Central Health Information System of the Republic of Croatia not only provides technical insight into the system, but also emphasizes the concrete benefits that CEZIH provides to health professionals, improving their efficiency and the quality of health care provided.
