Title of education

Central Health Information System of the Republic of Croatia (CEZIH)

CEZIH has continuously developed over more than ten years and supported an increasing number of services, some of which are visible only to health system managers and the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance, some also to health professionals, and some to patients.

Content of the training:

The educational course is intended to introduce participants to the central health information system of the Republic of Croatia, CEZIH.

The 5-hour course gives the participants an overview of the business architecture and services of CEZIH systems. Participants get acquainted with the most important components of the system, interfaces of individual components, their interaction and connection, and the possibilities of upgrades.


Participants also receive overview of central applications – eKarton and the Health Portal. The electronic health record (eKarton) is kept about each patient and is available to all healthcare professionals with a right of access, and the Health Portal application is intended for use by patients.

what is

de minimis?

Low-value aid; the total amount of which may not exceed €200,000 per undertaking, or €100,000 in the case of an undertaking engaged in road transport for hire or reward, in any period within three fiscal years.

In doing so, all de minimis aid shall be taken into account (aggregated) irrespective of the instrument, purpose and level of the de minimis granting authority.
