The University of Rijeka, as the leading partner of the EDIH ADRIA consortium and members of the EDIH Adria consortium as the operator of the edihadria.eu website, is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette 42/2018). The University of Rijeka controls all personal data provided to us and is responsible for their storage and processing in a fair, legal, secure and transparent manner.

What personal data do we collect and store?

We collect and store your personal data for the purpose of implementing the program and providing our services, which may be: your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, professional qualification, organization in which you are employed and information on personal skills and competencies.

By submitting data and information, you guarantee that they are accurate and that you fully agree with our Privacy Policy and the terms stated therein.

The University of Rijeka and members of the EDIH Adria consortium do not collect or process special categories of personal data.

Why do we need your personal information?

We collect and process your personal data so that we can inform you about EDIH Adria services and provide the services agreed with your employer.

Who do we share your personal data with?

By submitting the application, the applicants and participants of the program accept that their personal data is made available to EDIH Adria partners, their representatives and other natural persons participating in the organization and implementation of the EDIH Adria program. The University of Rijeka and the members of the EDIH Adria consortium will point out to them the fact that these personal data cannot be used for any purpose other than the one they have been collected, as well as the need to preserve the confidentiality of the personal data obtained. Exceptionally, your personal data may be disclosed to supervisory authorities for the purpose of project reporting.

The University of Rijeka and the members of the EDIH Adria consortium do not process your personal data for marketing purposes, nor do they use your personal data for any other commercial purpose - we do not sell, rent, disclose or make them available to third parties, legal or natural persons.

How long are we keeping them?

Your personal data will be stored for up to fifteen years after the end of the program for the purpose for which they were collected. Exceptionally, the e-mail address collected for inclusion in the newsletter list is stored permanently, until the moment of your unsubscribe from the list.

Your rights regarding personal data

As a data subject, you have the right to request access, correction or deletion of your personal data and to restrict or oppose certain types of processing of your personal data at any time. Anyone who considers that a right guaranteed by the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation and the General Data Protection Regulation has been violated may submit a request for a declaration of a violation of rights to the Personal Data Protection Agency www.azop.hr.

de minimis?

Low-value aid; the total amount of which may not exceed €200,000 per undertaking, or €100,000 in the case of an undertaking engaged in road transport for hire or reward, in any period within three fiscal years.

In doing so, all de minimis aid shall be taken into account (aggregated) irrespective of the instrument, purpose and level of the de minimis granting authority.
