At the new EDIH Adria workshop "From prompt to right answer: Learn to talk to AI that really understands your job” we will show you how to better communicate with AI tools and adapt them to specific business tasks without the need for technical pre-knowledge.

The workshop is practically focused, and the participants will get to know the BOSS frame for writing prompts, which helps to define the task more clearly and get more relevant and professional answers of AI tools.

During the workshop:

• you will get to know a simple framework for creating better quality prompts that you can apply when writing offers, service descriptions, responses to reviews and other business tasks,
• create your own AI mini-tool tailored to your business, such as a price calculator or a template for faster communication with customers;
• You will receive a set of spots for everyday work that you can further adapt to the needs of your business.

No prior technical knowledge is required to participate.

The introduction of AI into business is happening more and more quickly, often even before the company makes a clear decision on how, where and under what conditions to use AI.
Before choosing a specific AI solution or supplier, it is necessary to know which business problem we want to solve, whether we have the right data, what AI can do independently, where human control must remain and how we will assess whether the investment brings real value.

In the online lecture "What to know and decide before AI enters the company", you will learn what decisions to make before introducing AI and how to assess whether its application makes sense for a specific business process.

Through practical business examples, you will learn how to identify a high-quality AI use case, assess data and organization readiness, determine an acceptable level of AI autonomy, and understand key risks.

The lecture will also cover one of the important decisions that companies face – buying an existing AI solution, adapting the available platform or developing their own solution, as well as how to choose a supplier and test an AI solution before investing more.

You will find out:

• where AI can bring real business value, and where it is not necessary to use AI,
• how to define a business problem and the expected result before choosing a technology;
• what data are needed and how to assess their AI readiness;
• how much autonomy to give AI and where to maintain human control,
• key organisational, security, data and regulatory risks;
• to buy, adapt or develop an AI solution,
• how to assess and select a provider of AI solutions,
• how to define a pilot and measure business value before investing more,
• how to decide on the next step,

During the lecture, you will be able to apply the presented approach to your own business process or potential AI use case. No technical or prior knowledge of AI is required to participate. It is recommended to select in advance one business process or problem from your own company where you want to consider the possible application of AI.

Through a series of real business situations, demonstrations and practical examples, participants will learn how to formulate queries (prompts), choose the appropriate AI tool for a particular task and assess the reliability of AI-generated responses before their application in business. It will be shown how the quality of queries directly affects the quality of the results obtained, why AI sometimes generates incorrect or fabricated information, and how to identify and correct such errors.

Special attention will be paid to the most common mistakes that occur today in everyday office business. Through concrete examples, participants will learn what happens when confidential business or personal data is entered into AI tools, how to recognize when AI invented facts, legal provisions or sources of information, why it is not recommended to send an AI-generated email, offer or report without verification, and how to avoid situations where AI generates inappropriate or generic answers due to lack of context. It will also address the distinction between tasks for which generative AI is a suitable tool and those that still require human assessment and decision-making.
The training will also cover issues of protection of confidential and personal data, responsible use of AI content, copyright and differences between public and business versions of AI tools. Participants will get acquainted with the basic requirements of regulatory frameworks, including the GDPR and the EU AI Act, and understand what they mean in practice for organizations that use AI in their day-to-day operations.

The content of the training is organized through the key principles of effective, safe and responsible application of artificial intelligence in business. Each principle will be processed through real business examples, in order for the participants to adopt good practices that they will be able to apply throughout the education and in their own work environment.
