EDIH Adria and the BECKN community are organizing a workshop on: Open decentralised systems and energy communities

Join us at the workshop “Open decentralised systems and energy communities”.

We will try to answer the question of how initiatives such as the BECKN community can help faster development of the energy market and the entire ecosystem of civic energy in the Republic of Croatia and the EU, and what are the opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Topics to be addressed during the workshop:

• Energy production, consumption and exchange within the EU and HR (focus on energy communities)
• What are open decentralized ecosystems and BECKN
• What is the role of individual actors and what business processes we need
• What about the legal bases and regulations in HR, EU and Idija
• Technological components of energy "trading" platforms (intra-community and extra-community)
• What opportunities are opening up for small and medium-sized enterprises in creating energy market components?

Workshops will be held at the University of Rijeka Campus in the STEPRI space (Radmile Matejčić 10, 51000 Rijeka), a small hall in Wednesday 4 October 2023, starting at 9 a.m.
