Application of GenAI technology for IT engineers

This workshop provides participants with a deeper understanding of the application of machine learning and generative artificial intelligence in the development of IT solutions. Through the Python programming language, participants will get the opportunity to explore the key components of GenAI applications, understand best practices, and master techniques such as vectorization, prompt engineering, and the use of software assistants such as GitHub Copilot. The workshop provides a comprehensive insight into the construction of innovative solutions based on generative AI technology.

Content of the training:

The workshop presents the application of machine learning and generative AI in the field of IT engineering. It goes through the most important components of modern GenAI-enabled applications from the theoretical level:
  • an overview of the architecture of popular language models
  • prompt engineering that will be used through all parts
  • an overview of good practices in using language models from the perspective of available data, hallucinations, security and adjustment;
  • vectorizing the content and preparing for integration into the application through a vector base or graph
  • the Agent Approach to the Use of Language Models
  • reviews of the most popular libraries for easier work with language models
  • Discussing good practices in conceptualising solutions/applications
  • programming assistants (Github Copilot and others) with examples of good practice
Each unit is accompanied by a demonstration and wherever possible practical use through the Python programming language.
