EDIH Adria Bootcamp held in Zadar: Two-day workshop on digital solutions for entrepreneurs and the public sector

It was held in Zadar on April 14th and 15th. EDIH Adria Bootcamp, an intensive two-day programme dedicated to fostering the digital transformation of SMEs and public organisations. The event started in the premises of INOVAcija - Institute for the Development of Competences, Innovations and Specialization of Zadar County, while the second day continued at the Center for Creative Industries.

Bootcamp brought together participants from different industries – from IT, automation and consulting to health, education and sustainable technology services. The diversity of profiles enabled a rich exchange of experiences and ideas, and the atmosphere during both days was focused on joint growth, cooperation and the practical application of innovations.

On the first day, the participants, led by experts from the EDIH Adria consortium, identified key business challenges and defined project ideas that could have a significant impact on the digital efficiency of their organizations.

The second day of the workshop, held on April 15th at the Creative Industries Center, was dedicated to the elaboration of concrete implementation models. Participants worked in smaller interactive groups, where they, under the mentorship of domestic and national experts, developed plans, searched for the best digital solutions and received individual feedback. Special emphasis was placed on the possibilities of using digital technologies in real business processes and sectors they come from.

The workshop also presented the additional opportunities that EDIH Adria and the wider network of European digital innovation hubs offer to entrepreneurs - from advisory services and testing of digital solutions to support in finding partners and funding.

The goal of this bootcamp was not only to offer knowledge and tools, but to empower entrepreneurs and representatives of the public sector to independently and confidently continue the processes of digital transformation. Many of the project ideas developed during the workshop show real potential, and some participants have already announced the first steps towards their implementation.

We thank all participants for their openness and engagement, as well as partners and hosts from INOVAcija in an excellent organization. Bootcamp in Zadar once again showed how knowledge, cooperation and good support can be a strong driver of innovation in the region.
