As part of this year's Open Doors Days of EU Projects we present the results of the first phase of the EDIH Adria project as one of the key projects aimed at the digital transformation of enterprises and the public sector in Croatia.
The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds is once again organizing the Open Days of EU projects, which are held from 8 to 24 May throughout Croatia with the aim of bringing concrete results of investments from EU funds closer to the public.
In the Rijeka programme, special emphasis was placed on the presentation of the results of the EDIH Adria 1.0 project, which was implemented under the guidance of the University of Rijeka from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025 through the Digital Europe Programme (DEP).
Participants will have the opportunity to hear more about the experiences of project implementation, support for digital transformation of companies and public organizations and concrete examples of using EDIH Adria services.
The event will take place on 13 May 2026 at the Rijeka City Library – Meeting Hall, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., It will bring together representatives from academia, development institutions, businesses and the public sector interested in the digital transition and the use of artificial intelligence.
The event program focuses on the results of the first phase of the project, user experience and continuation of activities through EDIH Adria 2.0.
As part of the program prof. dr. sc. Saša Zelenika, head of EDIH Adria 1.0 project from the University of Rijeka, will give a presentation "EDIH Adria as a driver for the AI-based digital transition of Croatia", while mr. sc. Damir Medved to present the results of the project through the theme "EDIH ADRIA 1.0 – one of the best EDIH projects in the EU by results".
Participants will also have the opportunity to hear examples of good practice of using EDIH Adria project instruments in small and medium-sized enterprises (experiences of prof.dr.sc Vladimir Mozetič from the Primari Polyclinic Dragan Sokolović Smart Aqua) and public administration, and the final part of the program brings the presentation of the continuation of activities through presentation "What does EDIH ADRIA 2.0 bring us?" which will be held by Mario Vukelić, from STEP RI, as a representative of the current project manager, present the continuation of activities through EDIH Adria 2.0.
