In the second half of its implementation, the EDIH Adria consortium is at the very top of the European Digital Innovation Hubs!

On June 26, 2024, a consortium meeting of the EDIH Adria project was held in the premises of Step Ri, Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, Rijeka. marking half of its implementation. The meeting brought together all project partners, and was aimed at evaluating the results so far and planning future steps.

Damir Medved, director of the EDIH Adria project, presented the report on the achieved key performance indicators (KPIs). The EDIH Adria project is currently located among leading consortia in Europe (currently 225 EDIHs are active at EU level) 21st place by involving users in the process of digital transformation.

It's especially impressive that the project is on excellent 8th place in the implementation of education, with over 300 trainees from around 100 different SMEs and public sector representatives. As the trainings in the portfolio of the EDIH Adria project cover a wide range of knowledge that can help the company and its employees in the process of digitization, such a great interest is not unexpected.

In total, through various services of EDIH Adria in the first half of the project implementation 130 users included (small and medium-sized enterprises and public authorities and entities not engaged in an economic activity), which demonstrates the great interest and need for digital transformation in the region.

Bootcamp, a service through which users participate in workshops, mentoring and development counseling for the purpose of creating a “tailor-made” approach to their digitalization challenge, also caused great interest, so 8 bootcamps were held, attended by as many as 37 public users (local and regional self-government units, hospitals, health centers, utility companies...).

One of the key aspects of the project is the Test Before Invest (TBI) program, through which so far 33 services contracted for public authorities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It is currently in the process of receiving an additional 15 users for TBI services, which shows significant interest and the need for this innovative approach to digital transformation. The TBI process enables users to try advanced technologies and solutions in a controlled environment, along with equipment, resources and experts from the EDIH Adria consortium, before investing in them, reducing risks and increasing the chances of success.

The EDIH Adria project continues with the implementation and invites all interested parties to contact us today info@edihadria.eu or through one of the available channels, Facebook or LinkedIn page or via www.edihadria.eu websites.
