Efficient operation management: The key to success in a dynamic business environment

Training on effective management of operations is intended to provide a deeper insight into key elements of business management. Participants will get acquainted with the definition of processes, projects and operations and understand the importance of their proper management. In addition, there will be an emphasis on the need for timely and quality implementation of decisions in order to achieve the desired results.

The training will cover the following topics:

What is a process/project? Definition and understanding of basic concepts.

Process/project/operation management: Analysis of key aspects of process and project management.

Process Realities: Understanding the real challenges in running operations.

Identification of the start/end of the process: The importance of a precise provision for the start and end of the process.

Operational definition: How to clearly define operational goals and strategies.

SIPOC diagram to show the process: Using SIPOC diagrams to visualize the process.

Exercise of drawing SIPOC diagrams in groups: Practical application of acquired knowledge through team activity.

The training will be led by an experienced lecturer Gordan Krčelić from the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. Gordan Krčelić brings rich experience and expertise in the field of operation management, which will give participants the opportunity to learn from a top expert.
