the EDIH Adria Consortium Global Technology Leaders (Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. and Velebit AI d.o.o. – formerly Infobip d.o.o.), two scientific and research institutions (University of Rijeka and University of Pula), two business support institutions (STEP RI Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka and Rijeka Development Agency Porin – formerly Smart RI d.o.o.).
Consortium members bring their experience and experts of different profiles to the project, who will direct their skills and knowledge towards solving the challenges of service users. In addition to the necessary specialists, we also have the necessary equipment and laboratories that will be used for testing new products and services which our users have developed or are planning to develop.
In addition to excellent researchers and scientists (for example, the University of Rijeka has almost 90 researchers which can be included in the project depending on the specific needs of the potential beneficiary), and strong national and international partners, it is worth highlighting BURA supercomputer University of Rijeka, which is used for various purposes, and will be available to experts from the EDIH Adria consortium. In addition, there are 3D printers and others Equipment worth over EUR 50 million. It is also worth highlighting the support of the Center for Artificial Intelligence of the University of Rijeka, which brings together 75 scientists dealing with Artificial Intelligence and questions cybersecurity.
It is a company with exceptional experience in implementation automation process, optimization and powered operations Artificial Intelligence, and the services based on 4G/5G technologies and the development of innovative platform solutions. In addition to the infrastructure for the development and testing of innovations and the support of experts, Ericsson Nikola Tesla brings significant experience acquired in the implementation of numerous solutions in the health systems of Croatia or the wider region.
With more than 11 years of experience in machine learning and data science, Velebit AI provides end-to-end services covering all phases of AI projects – from strategic planning and model development to integration into complex business processes. To date, Velebit AI has implemented more than 70 AI projects for domestic and international clients.
Both Step Ri and RRA Porin offer EDIH Adria users consultancy services and support in the development of technological solutions and their application in business and/or market positioning.
Low-value aid; the total amount of which may not exceed €200,000 per undertaking, or €100,000 in the case of an undertaking engaged in road transport for hire or reward, in any period within three fiscal years.
In doing so, all de minimis aid shall be taken into account (aggregated) irrespective of the instrument, purpose and level of the de minimis granting authority.
