AI is no longer an additional topic but a business competitiveness issue

AI in business today is one of the most common topics of digital transformation, but also one of those around which organizations have the most questions. Where does artificial intelligence make sense? How to start? What to prepare before implementation? And how to avoid investments that do not bring real value?

Those were the themes. education "AI in business", held at the Faculty of Informatics in Pula within the EDIH Adria project.

Great interest in education has once again shown how many companies and the public sector today are looking for concrete information and practical examples of the application of artificial intelligence in everyday business. The capacity of the hall is filled a few days in advance, which confirms the growing need to understand the opportunities AI brings to organizations of different sizes and activities.

However, what was particularly highlighted during the training is the fact that many organisations are still not looking for "advanced AI solutions", but for answers to much more basic questions:

  • where AI makes sense at all,
  • how to start,
  • what to prepare before implementation,
  • and how to avoid investments without real value.

AI in business requires more than just a tool

The training was held by Davor Aničić, co-founder and director of the company Velebit AI, which presented the possibilities of using AI in small and medium-sized enterprises through practical examples and real business cases.

Special emphasis is placed on understanding the process, data quality and the importance of clearly defining business needs before the implementation of AI solutions.

Through the EDIH Adria project, training, workshops and professional support aimed at digital transformation and the application of new technologies are available to companies and organisations through a ‘test before invest’ approach.

The goal is not just to get to know AI tools, but to help organizations understand where technology can bring real value and how to apply it according to their own business processes and needs.

The interest in such education confirms how much organizations are actively looking for concrete and applicable information on digital transformation today, which is why EDIH Adria continues its activities aimed at bringing digital technologies closer to businesses and the public sector through education, professional support and practical examples of the application of new technologies in business.
