Digital tools for more efficient business

This Education package, led by digitization experts and professors from the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies of the University of Rijeka, will provide your employees with key skills and knowledge for office business optimization. You will learn how to make the most of digital tools through practical examples and concrete scenarios.

Content of the training:

1. Digital tools for office business optimization

The training includes an introduction to cloud work and its benefits, defines digital tools for organization, sharing and collaboration, and gives an overview of the main challenges in document and process management in companies.

2. Fundamentals of digital security and privacy

It provides a comprehensive overview of key aspects of online security and data protection.

3. Application of generative AI in office business

Education aims to familiarize students with the concept of generative AI, its capabilities, challenges and impact on society and explain how AI can optimize business processes, solve challenges and transform your business.

4. AI-enabled digital communication with citizens

The aim of the training is to familiarize the participants with the possibilities of using social media and other digital channels for communication with citizens, as well as the possibilities of using generative AI as help and support. Participants will be introduced to the basics of using social media for professional purposes (e.g. LinkedIn or Facebook) and useful metrics for monitoring performance.

5. Internal education and training of employees through online platforms

Attending education develops the basic skills needed to design and organize e-education in business environments.

6. Data visualisation to support business decision-making

As part of the training, participants will be presented with various digital tools for creating data visualizations, with an emphasis on tools with a graphical interface and support for automatic generation of reports such as Google Data Studio/Looker, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Public and Qlik Sense.

How to participate? All trainings are held through the MS Teams platform, and registration is simple and free for employees of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for public bodies and entities that do not perform economic activity.

Low-value aid; the total amount of which may not exceed €200,000 per undertaking, or €100,000 in the case of an undertaking engaged in road transport for hire or reward, in any period within three fiscal years.

In doing so, all de minimis aid shall be taken into account (aggregated) irrespective of the instrument, purpose and level of the de minimis granting authority.
