Education on text analysis technologies provides a comprehensive overview of text data analysis processes with an emphasis on solving various business challenges. Automatic classification of business documents, email analysis, user sentiment research, automatic document compression and information extraction, like entities and keywords, are just some of the aspects it covers.
The course participants will be introduced to the basic settings of the application of machine learning procedures to user texts, including the modeling of problems from the business domain. Also, the course deals with basic methods of text representation, such as TF-IDF and embedinzi, providing insight into ways of implementing learning and evaluating machine learning models on text data.
Educational programme takes 5 hours, led by Prof. dr. sc. Sanda Martinčić-Ipšić Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies Rijeka.
Teaching will take place to be held on 7 February 2024., in hall 357 at Radmile Matejčić 2, Rijeka, starting at 2 p.m. and lasting until 7 p.m. Also, there is the possibility of participation through online platforms.
