The potential of digital transformation of the entrepreneurial and public sector through the EDIH Adria project presented at the PMI Forum

It was held in Zagreb from November 6th to 8th. 17. PMI Forum, a project management conference organized by PMI Croatia Chapter, a non-profit association of project professionals in Croatia that is part of the Project Management Institute (pmi.org), the world's largest project management association. At this year's edition, experts from business and academic fields discussed the skills and perspectives of projects and future requirements and how they will affect each other.

The focus of the forum was on the skills of project leaders (Power Skills), the project economy and the impact of artificial intelligence, as well as on sustainable project management and experience in project preparation and implementation of ESG guidelines and requirements in IT companies.

With the theme The use of artificial intelligence to improve the business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises – Can AI and HPC help optimise the business processes of Croatian companies, and by participating in the panel ESG – challenges in creating a sustainable future; The project EDIH Adria was presented by the project director, Damir Medved.

Discussing the potential for use AI and High Performance Computing (HPC) to create new services code small and medium-sized enterprises or public institutions, jAre Croatian entrepreneurs ready to implement advanced chatbots, sensor infrastructure or big data analytics?Given the fact that the application of AI and HPC in our environment is far (or near) at all, Damir Medved has brought the gathered closer to the ways in which EDIH ADRIA can help ensure a quality and holistic approach to the process of digital transformation.

Participating in the panel ESG – challenges in creating a sustainable future; Damir Medved has additionally shown the utmost importance of thinking about the processes of digitalization of companies even in the field of creating a sustainable future where entrepreneurs, in order to respond to the requirements of the ESG principle, will have to think about the necessary investments, savings that sustainable business will safely bring and new markets that will thus open up. And the use of advanced technological solutions, such as those that are the focus of the EDIH Adria-AI and HPC projects in these processes can help to ensure a sustainable future.
