Education for IT industry

Title of education

The GDPR is (not) a hoax: What, how and when to do when aligning your business?

The training provides employees with key basics on personal data protection, focusing on the application of the GDPR within the organization. Through several parts of the lecture, we will process the establishment of data protection programs, the processing of personal data for marketing purposes and the context of employment relationships.

Content of the training:

Although the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been in force for years, most organisations still struggle to align their operations. It is often the Core Challenge in that they don't know where to start, how to assess how much work is ahead of them and how to set priorities. This is particularly problematic for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who have a limited budget and insufficient human (and professional) capital to adequately address this issue.

The aim of this lecture is to facilitate this challenge. We first deal with the basics, and then guide you into practical thinking about the GDPR, so you know what, how and when to do it.

Education consists of the following units:

  • Establishment of a data protection programme within the organisation
  • Processing of personal data in marketing and in the context of employment relationships
  • The process of harmonizing the website and using cookies
  • Use and/or development of AI tools in compliance with regulations
The education is intended employees who directly or indirectly design and supervise the processes of compliance with the rules on personal data protection in the organization, whether they are corporate lawyers, company owners, employees of HR or marketing.
